We’ll Chip In At Your “Do-Good” Events

Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary

Heather enjoys "Paws for Breath," a yoga and meditation therapy class for the cats at Ocean Acres (and the humans who attend). Ocean Acres is a Non-Profit Company (No. 44150), rescuing and re-homing abused (and abandoned) dogs and cats in Barbados. Their mission is to educate the community on the compassionate care, welfare, and benefits of companion animals. (March 27, 2022)

Graffiti Removal

Rob's son and other families chipped in to clean pretty mosaics like this and remove graffiti in Oakland, California. The kids loved scrubbing away with the sponges! (February 18, 2022)

Mile High Lab Mission

Vanessa and her family rescued their cute Labrador Retriever from Mile High Lab Mission. The Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission, (MHLRM), a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity, is dedicated to alleviating the needless death and suffering of homeless or misplaced (lost and stray) purebred Labrador Retrievers as well as Labrador mixes.

East Bay Regional Parks

Rob and his family helped plant new brush for baby quail to thrive in the East Bay of California. The volunteer effort was led by the legendary Cowboy Ranger Dr. Quack.

Rachel's House

Christine leads a team of 3-5 people that cook and serve 35 homeless ladies in a downtown homeless shelter for women (Rachel’s House). Christine does this every 2-3 months. Women sign-up to stay the night in the shelter where they get a bed and a warm shower and a great meal served by Christine’s team (which includes daughter Kylie below)! (2018, 2019 & beyond!).

Brett Powell Safety Initiative

On May 12, 2017, our good friend Carla Bourque lost her husband Brett Powell to a tragic kiteboarding accident in Alameda. Carla and Brett were a terrific couple in the San Francisco Bay Area and leaders in multiple tech businesses. We are proud to contribute to the new "Brett Powell Safety Initiative" to provide education, safety, and access support for those who share a commitment and passion for kiteboarding and other boardsports in the SF Bay Area. (September 24, 2017)

San Diego Junior Achievement BizTown

Christine recently donated a morning to help a group of 5th graders get an education on job roles, the hiring process, personal finance, business finance and different functions of the community. (May 11, 2016)

AIDS LifeCycle

We were to happy to support Talent Guru (Autodesk and Uber) Andrew Levy in his bike ride to support curing AIDS. (June 13, 2015)

Rescue Mission Church

Ongig's family donated dress shirts, pants, shoes and suits to the Rescue Mission church in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco (Max is in glasses and Rob's in the Ongig shirt). Thanks to Jane Newcomb for the photo! (December 29, 2013)

SV Rocks

Kevin contributed to the SV Rocks charity concert & watched Mark Zuckerberg’s sister Randi singing (sorry we didn't get Kevin in the picture). (November 29, 2012)

Cycle for Survival

Ongig was happy to support Buddy Media’s participation in Cycle for Survival – amazing that the event raised $8 million+ for cancer. (April 23, 2012)

That’s Jason (middle) supporting 2 mentees from YearUp — they went on to work at MicroMenders and Google! (February 2, 2012)
